This series is led by Thomas and is titled "The Second World War: Why nations participated, how and why they chose their allies and what they hoped to gain from it."

In this discussion series Thomas asks the Group to consider the subject of war entirely from the perspective of the individual participant nations and also look at a few neutral nations, to try to ascertain their reasons for staying out of the war. In his view, wars are fought for more complex reasons than those given at the time and believes this series is topical and may be of interest in the light of various current wars.

if you are interested in joining this online Zoom Group please contact Thomas, the Group Leader, using the link above. He will send you a copy of the current programme and add you to his zoom invitation list.
